Beyond the pale

Fred Phelps’ “God Hates Fags” nutjobs protested at the funeral of fallen soldier Christopher Piper in Boston yesterday, apparently for no reason other than the fact that he and his family were from gay-marrying Massacheussets. His wife and daughters had to endure signs like “Fag Body Bag,” and “Fag Soldier In Hell”, and “Thank God For IEDS” . Sickening.

    To use the occassion of the funeral of a soldier to promote their hate is despicable. The people who attend that Baptist church should be horrified and ashamed. When will this country wake up and reject the stupidity of these bigots?
