  1. John Dean, former White House Counsel to Nixon and a key witness for the prosecution that followed, has written a column about the quality of information delivered by Deep Throat, as well as Bob Woodward, Carl Bernstein, and Ben Bradlee. Dean considers Bradlee, former managing editor of the Washington Post, the true hero of the Watergate affair.

The appendix that he mentions a few times is available on the web site of the original publisher, FindLaw. The appendix notes the information from All the President’s Men that Dean considers erroneous.
