Well, our Virginia boycott site launched Monday, and so far it's gotten over 8,000 hits. I've gotten some great mails from supportive readers, angry homos, and embarrassed Virginians. Oh, and at least one seriously scary guy. Anyway, check it out if you haven't.

The link to "Michael Masterson's Accelerated Program for Six-Figure Copywriting" made this underpaid tech writer laugh so hard I spewed coffee through my nose. Also, I looked everywhere for the extra digits on my paycheck, but still can not find them.

Yes, that was my favorite too. I'm still a bit shy of that elusive sixth digit myself. Did you notice how BAD the writing on that site was???

Pieter lists Loreena McKennit among his favorite musicians; perhaps he'll go through a pagan phase next.

Regarding the six-figure writing. Somehow the title of the program has a mysical sound to me, like the five fingers of death or the eight-fold path.

I looked around the site a bit. The page about travel writing looks an awful lot like the example sales letter. Also, it notes that the author's editor is anxious to find "fresh" talent. I imagine that's to reduce the cost of the articles.
