Great, David, now I have the Whitney Houston song "One Moment in Time" stuck in my head. Seriously, this is a great story-- for the reasonably intelligent non-scientist, the theory makes immediate sense. His argument that previous scientific theories of time are rooted in consciousness adds credibility to the kind of postmodern history-of-science criticism that "pure" scientists often bristle at.
