A Hamster Dance For Our Times

A Hamster Dance For Our Times.

If you've been working long hours and your only diversion is checking the "Placing Things On Top of Other Things" tribe on Tribe.net for new insights and checking Google News to see if your country is going to hell (yes, a futile obsession), you might find Badger Badger Badger levitating (and perhaps hallucinogenic). I just know that I feel better having it on.

If you need a little more intellectual stimulation—but not much more—try some of the "toons" and stuff on weeble-stuff.

How much do I LOVE Google News? Where has it been all my life?! How, otherwise, would I have found this? Thank you!

Big in Korea. There's now a link to an interview with the person behind Weebl-Stuff on the web site, where he talks about his animation and a real live contest for humans based on the badgers. Like the text on Samsung's site notes, it was word of mouth that acquainted me with Weebls-Stuff.

Weebls-Stuff and Mark Fiore have both inspired interest in me in creating animations, but the price for Macromedia Flash is prohibitive. Maybe I should download the free trial and see if addiction would overcome my resistance to purchase.

Thanks Gary, great link! (But why is Samsung, of all people, producing such great content?)

I'm gonna try and Tivo Weebl and Bob on MTV now.

Also, check out Weebl's new "Kenya" toon. It has much the same inane hypnotic quality as the badgers: I don't know why I want to watch it over and over, but for some reason I do.
